These terms are short on purpose: the purchase itself is covered by Polar's Buyer Terms, because Polar is our merchant of record. This page only adds what is specific to our products.

1. Who you buy from

You buy from Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"), our reseller and merchant of record. Polar processes the payment, issues the receipt and invoice, collects and remits sales tax, VAT or GST, and handles chargebacks, under the Polar Buyer Terms you accept at checkout. Prices and taxes are shown at checkout.

Your right to use the product is granted by us, not by Polar, under the product's License Agreement (section 3).

2. What you get

• A digital download: a zip with both editions (React + Vite and Next.js), the documentation and the License Agreement, plus a license key.
• Delivery is immediate, by email and in your Polar customer portal, where updates are also published.
• Prices are in US dollars; Polar adds the sales tax or VAT of your country at checkout.

Requirements (please check before buying): Node.js 20.19 or newer (22.22 or newer for Ochre) and npm 10 or newer; an evergreen browser (the last two versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari); working knowledge of React and TypeScript. Each product page and its documentation list any product-specific requirements.

3. License

What you may do with the product depends on the tier you buy (Personal, Team or Extended), as set out in the License Agreement included in the download. You can move to a higher tier at any time by paying the difference.

4. Updates and support

Your license is perpetual. Updates within the same major version (for example all of 1.x) are free; each new major version is offered to existing customers at a 50% discount. Support is provided by email at support@cactusdeck.com, as described in the License Agreement. Please include your license key when you write.

5. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. A refunded or charged-back purchase ends the license.

6. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the version in force when you bought applies to that purchase. Questions: support@cactusdeck.com.
